Dropbox password does not show password when clicked

I am running into an error where if i click see password or copy password, it will only show/reveal  "........ " in dropbox passwords, sometimes it will show the acutal password and sometimes it is still encrypted. What setting do i need to change? If it's still "........ " it will login as that and will be wrong. Very annoying to try to retrieve a password i have not used in a long time and do not have access to.

Could you please clarify if you're referring to the Dropbox Passwords mobile app or the web extension instead?

If it's the former, you can try reinstalling the app and if it's the latter, you can clear your browser's cache or try another browser.
