hi all hope someone can help.

bought new dell laptop and installed dropbox desktop in it, however prtscr button no longer take screenshots, instead a snipping tool thing appear instead of capturing screen

when i was using old dell laptop prtscr button has no issue screenshot images

Hey @lostbunny! Thanks for posting here. 

 

Do you mean that when taking screenshots in the past, and hitting on the PrtScn button, they were being saved to your Dropbox account? 

 

If yes, please follow these steps and make sure the “Share screenshots and screen recordings using Dropbox.” option is enabled in your app preferences. 

 

Otherwise, if you were previously using Dropbox Capture to automatically save your screenshots to Dropbox, you can use it again this way.
