email modified but notification still sent to old address

email modified but notification still sent to old address

Hi everyone,

 

I've modified several months ago the email address associated to my drobpox account. I can login with the new email, and I receive correctly for example 2 factor access codes on the new address, but I still find notification (e.g. space full) in the old email inbox. 

How can I move all the possible notification and emails from the old address to the new one, which I am already using for access?

Hi @lordmark89, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

If you're still getting notifications to your old email address, then it sounds like you haven't changed the email directly from the site, since any notifications would go to the new email. 

 

Most likely, a new account was created under the new email. Are you able to login to the site with your old email address?

 

Keep me updated with any progress!

Guess you're right. Don't know how this happened, I was 100% sure that I've just modified the email to the new one, but actually it is a fully different , new account. 

As suggested I've tried logging in with old email and the account still works and of course has different files, I should have checked this first.

Sorry for the noobish mistake and thanks for your support!
