Hi,

I’m reaching out about an issue with my Dropbox Plus account. Today, I was unexpectedly logged out of the desktop app. When I tried to log back in, I discovered that all my files were missing and my account now appears as a Basic account.

I used the receipt lookup tool, and it shows my email with an additional hashtag (#) at the end, which is preventing me from logging in.

Could you please assist me with resolving this issue?

Thank you.

Hey @konoisis - sorry to hear about this.

Since we'd need account specific information to troubleshoot further in this case, I'd recommend getting in touch with our support team directly.

To do so, make sure to use an incognito and fill in this form with all the relevant information.

Let us know of any updates!

I would recheck if u are using the same account to login. Dropbox now offers google one tap login, which allows u to login with your google account which may not be the same account you previously used on ur Desktop

I tried using both the google login, and manually using my credentials. Both methods did not work. I somehow ended up creating a new account with the same e-mail it seems. Support instructed me to change the e-mail for the new account, but I still haven't received any update on that.
