Hello,
Hello,
Would like to purchase more DropBox space, however the next size plan is 2TB, do not require this much space, its more then HDD size !!
I have spotted on the forum 'Dropbox Basic Extra Plan' which will be perfect for my requirements.
Had an on SalesChat with Dropbox advisor, but were unable to provide me the link for this package and to log this query on this forum.
So my question is 'How Can I get Dropbox Basic Extra Plan?'
Any advice or assistance appreciated 🙂

I got this error: "You are not currently eligible for this product."
Dropbox periodically tests different plans and/or features with a small group of people to see how they're received and how well they work. Offers like this could be limited to a geographic region, or to a group of people on a specific operating system.
If you're not currently eligible for a specific plan or product, there's no way to opt-in to it. You'll need to wait until they widen the test group or fully release it.
Hi Megan,
I'm in a similar boat, where 2TB is WAY too much. Can I please also have access to the Basic Extra plan?
Thanks
Hi @jimmle, could you let me know if you're able to access this link, while logged into your account, to upgrade to the Basic Extra plan?

Hi Jay,
Same message-My account isn't eligible. It's worth mentioning that my account is currently subscribed to the Plus (2 TB) plan, with a scheduled cancellation on my next renewal in September. My current plan is too expensive for too much storage space- I'm looking to downsize.
Thanks for the info, the plan should only be available to users on a Basic plan, so it isn't possible to upgrade from a Plus plan.
Once your account downgrades in September, you can try to upgrade to this plan again.

Thanks Jay, this is helpful. In the meantime, are you able to share what the plan's pricing and storage options are?
My post from earlier this year describes what the plan offers. Essentially, it's just like the Basic plan, but with 50 GB of quota.

Does that mean it's free, like the Basic plan?
No, there is a monthly fee for the plan, which should be approximately $1.99 a month depending on currency, tax and billing cycle.
