How can I get a refund for a PayPal charge?

How can I get a refund for a PayPal charge?

I have spent a ridiculous amt of time trying to figure out how to cancel my basic subscription.   There is no cancel under my general acct.  I checked my phone and I have no subscriptions on it.   I have the basic plan and am being charged for something else but I can't find what.  It was my PayPal that got charged so can't check CC info for a #.   How do I get this stopped and a refund for the charge?

Hey @poe8412, thanks for posting to our Community.

Dropbox Basic is the free version of Dropbox, that's why you're unable to cancel your subscription.

If you don't know which account the subscription is tied to, I suggest reaching out to our support team directly.

You can do so, by following the steps below:

  1. Open a private browsing/incognito window and go to this page.
  2. In the "I want to look up information related to" section, choose "other" and type in an email address you can access.
  3. Fill out the rest of the form.
  4. Click "submit".

Let us know once you have your ticket number.

Thanks!

You wont if you do it while logged in - so you need to do it via a private or incognito window.
