I was looking at Dropbox plans last night and kept getting a pop up on https://www.dropbox.com/plans for 25% off Dropbox Plus. When I clicked on the pop up it took me to dropbox.com/buy/plus but the total had the 25% discount applied. It was going to be something like $116 for the year. I didn't have time to set it up last night and the promo said something about being valid until august 30 or something like that so I decided to do it today when I had more time but now I don't see the promo anywhere.

If you check your Dropbox-linked email address, do you see any emails offering you the discount?
Just asking, because maybe you can receive it that way. Can you check, and let me know more?

This happens a lot. Dropbox puts up these fake promos and lies to people. Then they come to the forum, the dropbox employee ask for more details, and nothing happens. I can pull up 5 threads on that right now.
The same thing happened to me moments ago. I am LIED to at this point and won't be buying any dropbox plans unless they honored the advertisement.
I was just going back and forth with support for 20 minutes and the guy decided to disconnect. So I am extremely disappointed in dropbox, especially when you can buy dropbox plans at every price point through the lenovo market.
