Hoping someone can help as Dropbox is saying this is a Chrome issue and can't resolve.
My company uses Dropbox for files. I open excel & powerpoint files from dropbox.com to google sheets & slides. Once I start typing in the google sheets or google slides file, it immediately crashes Chrome. With Google Docs, this isn't an issue with Chrome. It apparently is not an issue with anyone else in the company editing the dropbox.com files using google sheets or slides.
Noting, I don't have any issues editing google sheets or slides in Safari with dropbox files, but I would like to avoid using more than one browser at work as we use a lot of Google applications and really only use Google.
I've already done the following:
Thanks for the help in advance!
Hey @splouffe, and thanks for posting on our Community.
Is there any chance you may have any browser plugins enabled at the moment? The issue you're experiencing may be the result of a security setting or a plugin that you have installed on your browser.
Also, if you’ve already contacted our support, can you send me the ticket number from your convo, so that I can take a look?
Give me a nudge when you have more updates!

Hey @JulianRauch, thanks for joining the discussion!
Have both of you tried to disconnect the integration and re-connect it through the Connected apps tab on www.dropbox.com? You can also check our App Center.
If not, please give that a shot and let me know how it goes.

@Nancy Is it really necessary to have the connect apps for it to work? My google docs works with chrome, but sheets and slides crash in chrome.
That’s necessary indeed, as this is related to the integration showing on your Connected apps page.
Also, something more I wanted to suggest is to open an incognito window from your Chrome browser, and access your Google Sheets/Slides. Do you experience the same behavior?
Finally, what’s the OS version of your device, as well as the version of the Chrome browser you’re using?
I'd like us to isolate this as much as possible to see what's going on.

Is this the app I should be connecting to dropbox? https://www.dropbox.com/apps/google_suite
How do I connect it to my dropbox? I click learn more and it goes to my dropbox home page. There is nothing to accept it or anything.
Hi again, thanks for all the details you’ve sent. They really help!
Is it OK if I open tickets for both of you, so that we can investigate this further? I can message you to the email address that’s tied to your forum profile here.
Let me know if that’s alright with you.
