Learn how to get the most out of Dropbox with other users like you.
Those of you who have this error:
1. In Android Settings, go to Apps. Select Dropbox.
2. Click "Force Stop".
3. Click "Permissions".
4. Click on "Photos and Videos".
5. Select "Don't Allow".
6. Restart Dropbox. Open Dropbox Settings.
7. Click on Camera Uploads.
8. Dropbox will ask you for permission again. Select "Allow All".
9. Done. It's fixed.

This is still an active ongoing issue as of today, 3 months after you said a fix would be issued. Thank goodness I found @James S.5 fix above today.
I've updated the newest version, still had the same problem. But thanks to the above tip it works again!
Not touched Linux in a while but looks like chmod is sure getting complicated to set the right permissions these days.

2024 Worked, be sure to follow all instructions to reset Android and DB settings.
