Well darn, I just went to my dropbox account and all the 100s of files are gone, or at least just not visible because of a setting I hope!
how do I get all those back?

When was the last time you saw those files on www.dropbox.com?
Did you check both your Deleted files and Events page and there’s no sign of your missing content?
Is it possible your files are saved on a different Dropbox account (under another email address)?
