The alias “xyz” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.

Hello all,
In creating an alias for a folder, I learned from a coworker that it was not opening as it should. It opens for me, but not for her.
I am doing this on the desktop side. I dont' know if there is a fix for this, and whether or not its because of the recent Dropbox upgrade. My computer is on the new system, no one else is.  I feel like this is related to that. Is this the case? Will it go away if everyone upgrades?
Thanks,
T

Hi @Twalt414, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Since every machine has their own username and location for the Dropbox folder, any aliases wouldn't work between machines.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
