On the iOS app (on my iPhone), when choosing to move or duplicate a file or folder > choose a different folder… > there is no search box. Only the option to navigate my entire Dropbox from the root level.

There used to be a search box, and it was super convenient. My app is up to date, and I deleted and downloaded again, same thing. So I’m assuming this feature was removed.

Hi @mettaworldwill,

Thanks for your feedback once again.

Happy to inform you that this should be fixed in our next iOS update (v358) that is coming up in a few days.

You can check this change on the What’s New session of the iOS app.

Thanks,

Sam

Hi @mettaworldwill, happy Wednesday!

As a first step, can you clarify your device's OS, along with the version of the Dropbox app you're using on your end.

Also, do you try to move/duplicate using your Files page, I am assuming, right? If not, feel free to let me know more.

I tested it on my end, and I can see what you mean, but for the sake of troubleshooting, can you also send me a screenshot of what you see on your end?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan,

Thank you for replying. Yes, doing this from the file page.

iOS 17.1.2 (21B101)

App version 356.2.2

And the red arrow in my screenshot is roughly where I recall the search box was located.
