Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
I'm on the free plan to back up my website. I only need to retain the new backup and have the old one deleted each time a new one is added. Can I do that?
Hey there @gyanarthi - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!
Can you walk us through the exact steps you'll be doing this so that we can advise further?
If this is going to be a single file, for example, you can upload new versions of it and delete the old ones as you go.
In any case, please let us know more information and we'll take it from there.

Hi walter...my site is backed up daily to another site... and to dropbox at the same time. I suppose I could just stop the automatic backup and do it manually to dropox. i dont want to add another plugin. Is there another way to do it ?
