Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
HI
On of my clients shared their folder with me as we were preparing for an audit, they went away on holiday only to come back and their files were showing as deleted. they contacted Dropbox and the history showed that I had deleted them on two separate occasions when i clearly hadn't, has anyone else had this issue
Hi @jmurphy60344, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If the files are showing as deleted by you, then it does mean that, somehow, the files were deleted by your user.
This thread lists possible reasons as to why this could occur, and apply to files in a shared folder also.
Were you able to recover the files from the deleted files page?
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
