File path is too long, now I can't open my Excel file

why my dropbox file is not being opened and prompting the error "Cannot open the file because the full path of the file is too long. Please keep the full path less than 218 characters." whereas the full path is only 151 characters?

Hi @GOOD LIFE, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

This sounds like the error message stated, the full file path, including the file name, is too long now for Excel to be able to open the file.

This means from the C:\ all the way to the extension of a file, in this case xlsx.

I'd recommend checking this by right clicking the file and viewing the properties to get the full file path.

This will help me to assist further!
