Cannot delete a file, as it keeps coming back

no matter what I do.... whether I delete it from Dropbox online, from my Mac, from my NAS, or all three, dropbox refuses to delete a word file. I have checked the Get Info... permissions are fine, it just keeps reappearing, and therefore I cannot delete the entire folder. any ideas?

Hi, a small question, Is it a shared file? Are you the owner of the file you want to delete?
