Re: iOS mobile app crashes when scanning a file with more than 10 pages

iOS mobile app crashes when scanning a file with more than 10 pages

Hello. When I am scanning a document with more than 10 pages the App closes on my iPhone without saving. One or two pages work fine. Does anyone have the same problem. Is it a bug?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @Fastlane67.

Can you clear the app's cache, to see if that helps?

To do that, open the app, tap on "account", then on the gear icon and then on "clear cache".

Let me know how it goes!

Hello. Yes I have tried that. No success. I have tried scanning 10 pages with an IPHONE which hasn't updated the new IOS but has the latest Dropbox App version. With that Iphone there are no problems. So the reason for this mess is again the IOS version:-((

I just cleared the cache again... Somehow now it works now.... Thanks

Glad to hear that, @Fastlane67.

Try the same, if you do come across this issue again, but let us know if it doesn't go away.

Have a great week ahead!

I was having the same issue. I was able to resolve it by "clearing the cache" using the instruction above above, clearing the search history on the same page, logging out of the Dropbox app, closing out of the app on my iPhone (swipe up from the home screen and "close" the Dropbox screen"), and then re-opening and logging back in. Afterwards I successfully scanned two documents, one with 13 pages and one 22 pages.
