I have a work desktop plus a laptop. If I login by using dropbox.com login and upload files into dropbox they are there. But, on both computers I have downloaded the app which shows up in my file manager. The problem is whatever files I upload in the app is only accessible in the app and are not reflected in dropbox.com login and vice versa. How do I get the app and my dropbox.com login to sync so my files are easily accessible through my file manager?

Is Dropbox running on your devices?

What does it say if you mouse over the icons on the status bar?
