Hi @9001ED; thanks for joining the discussion here and sorry to hear about this.

I'd like to take a look into this for you so could you post a screenshot of the exact error message you get when trying to share a folder?

Thanks a bunch!

I am having the same problem. I cant even invite one to share. There must be something wrong with Drop Box - settings or something. I havent seen an answer on this blog abut how many times can you share a day before you reach a limit?

Hi Admin Russell. Don't expect a resolution quickly. I'm on DB Plus & I've been trying to get a resolution for this issue for the last 3 days and 2 Dropbox staff members haven't been able to fix it.

If I attempt a single share per day DB says “You’ve hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours” which of course is ridiculous for 1 share per day.

If I attempt to "Create link" in the share dialogue box DB says “You don’t have permission to create a link to this folder”!

Is that your experience?

Hi Walter, did you ever discover the cause of this? Another user "Admin Russell" has joined this discussion with the same issue.

If I attempt a single share per day DB says “You’ve hit the limit of invites you can send per day. Try again in 24 hours” which of course is ridiculous for 1 share per day.

If I attempt to "Create link" in the share dialogue box first, DB says “You don’t have permission to create a link to this folder”.

I'm on DB Plus & I've been trying to get a resolution for this issue for the last 3 days and 2 Dropbox staff members haven't been able to fix it. A ticket was raised to get the 2nd staff member on it, he said he'd fixed it but didn't & hasn't replied to my email over 24 hours ago. My customer is blowing up & DB is making me look incompetent.

Hey Woodhouse. If you are having exactly the same issue I detailed above I recommend you contact the DB Helpdesk ASAP because no amount of Googling or time will resolve your issue. If you can’t even do 1 Share a day your problem can only be fixed by the Helpdesk (Zendesk). My issue was resolved by the Helpdesk after a few days of chasing them. I got the impression there was a back office issue impacting some accounts but the Helpdesk didn’t explain what caused the issue to my satisfaction. Good luck.
