As per the title, when i manually upload photos in HEIC format they show up in the photos section not ordered by the date of the picture taken (even if such data is present in the file) but rather on the date they were added to dropbox. This is not true for jpg photos, but i would like to keep them as HEIC.
How could i fix this?
In general, when you upload files manually via the Dropbox mobile app, the current date and time are used.
As you used a different method for the JPG images, this changed the way it was added into the Dropbox account.

Hi @Faabbbbio, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify how you're uploading these images? Which device and app are you using?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi, I am uploading pictures with my iPhone (13, with the latest firmware), manually by using the share feature and then selecting the Dropbox app.
Are the JPG images being uploaded using the camera upload feature, or by manually uploading them using the same method you provided?

I never use the camera upload, I always upload my photos manually, regardless of the format. In this case i was able to upload them as a JPG by copy-pasting them in the files app opened in the relevant dropbox folder
