Dropbox upload speeds are impossibly slow as of today (max of about 10kbps on a fiber connection that is reading currently registering 914mbps upload). A 2mb .mp3 file has been uploading for over 15 minutes and is showing no signs of ever completing. This is on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra running Sonoma 14.5 and Dropbox v202.4.5551

This is happening on the desktop app as well as all browser interfaces.

Downloading is fully working as expected through the app as well as browsers.

Help would be greatly appreciated, as this issue has allowed for zero work to be completed today and for our team to fall behind on multiple deadlines.

Hi @jvideo, let's jump right into this!

I'm a bit skeptical since this is happening on both the app, and the website.

I know it sounds trivial, but have you tried rebooting your device, or trying an entirely different network perhaps?

Does this happen with all of your files, I'm assuming?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thank you for your skepticism.

I have rebooted the computer several times. Connected to the internet via wifi and ethernet directly. Rebooted the modem.

This is happening with all files and in all Dropbox folders. Also happening with all accounts in the business plan.

Just did a large file upload test to WeTransfer. Uploaded and sent a 580mb file in under 10 seconds.

Hey @jvideo, thanks for the heads up!

Are you getting this behavior on any other devices on the same network?

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

Also, can you check if the Dropbox bandwidth settings have any limits set?
