Syncing issues on a new Apple MacBook Air - "syncing is paused while a file in this folder is open"

Hi   I have setup my new Mac and setup dropbox and the app has been synchronising for days - it has 1,200,000+ files left to sync and seems to be stuck.   Looking at "sync issues" there appea...

Hey marietararealtor, you mentioned that your syncing status was showing 2,282 files syncing. 

 

Is the number going down, or is it stuck like that?

    Hey marietararealtor, it seems we have a new stable build out at the moment. 

     

    Would you mind installing it from here? 

     

    Also, would you mind following these steps, in order to fix the permissions and/or hardlinks of your files?
