Large directory not synching with cloud after OS reinstall

Large directory not synching with cloud after OS reinstall

TooMuch2Do914

After recovering from a corrupt Windows 11, when I reinstalled Dropbox, most of my directories synchronized and were available both on my laptop and in the cloud.  My 247GB photos directory did not.  All the photos are available in Dropbox in the cloud, but aren't synching.  I also have a directory of these photos on my laptop.  What are my options for getting them to synch again without causing duplicates?  If it makes a difference, in the meantime, I have these photos along with newer ones backed up with Dropbox.  Thanks for your help.

Hey @TooMuch2Do914, thanks for reaching out to us.

If I understand correctly, this directory is currently saved to your account online, but hasn't synced to your local Dropbox folder, right?

If so, does the name of the directory contain any of the characters in this article?

And what is the sync status of the Dropbox application at the moment?

You can hover over your Dropbox icon, to see this info.

Let me know what you find.
