I see an error message saying I'm banned when I'm trying to share links.

I geta banned member message when trying to share links.  All I have in dropbox is my own PDF files and personal photos from holidays.

What you describe can occur for any of the reasons mentioned in this Help Center article

 

We can open a ticket for you though to this email address and further help.

I reviewed the points in the linked article and I am certain they dont apply in this case.

The contents are PDF and JPG files.  All the PDF files have been created by me so should not have any links or copyright claims.  The images are photos from vacations. 

The files are accessed by myself and friends a few times per year so I don't believe it would be any usage limits.
