I saved some folders to online-only but now I can't see them on my computer

Hello,

I somehow saved some folders to online only... but I cannot see them on my desktop app.

When I click on them in dropbox online it doesn't give me the option to put them back on my desktop.

Please help. I am not to savvy with this stuff.

Valerie

the task manager says I am using 38% of my disc. But my C drive says it is using almost all of the disc.

Could you send us a screenshot of where you're spotting the discrepancy so that we can have a visual too @vacmmc ?

Also, did you check the app's status in your system tray to see if it's still syncing or 'up to date'?

Hello again,

Under preferences I do not have a sync tab.

I have this option checked: Dropbox system extension Allows Dropbox to store files as online-only to save hard drive space.

I have more than enough space on dropbox online
Regular files (734.7 GB)
Backup (1.3 GB)
Replay (0 bytes)

Thank you so much... I just checked it and now there is ample space.
I love smart people.

I thank you as it was resolved. I didn't know I had to wait a while.
But I am still lost as to how to make my few folders that are online only that I cannot see on my desktop. I have right clicked on them but there isn't a sync option or a make available off line option.

If they're online-only, you should be seeing them in your Dropbox folder's structure from where you'd be able to make them available offline by right clicking on them and choosing the relevant option @vacmmc

On the other hand, if you're referring to folders that have been selectively un-synced, you'd need to change the sync settings through the selective sync option in the sync tab in the app's preferences

Ok, I will try to find that again, but when you say app you are referring to my desktop right?

Yes, I'm referring to the Dropbox desktop app @vacmmc

You can access its preferences through the Dropbox icon in your system tray
