I get the message that my files might contain phishing content

I get the message that my files might contain phishing content

Xanthocletes

I am trying to share a file and get the message "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content"

Relevant Facts:

1) File does not contain phishing content.

2) I haven't used dropbox for about a year, so I'm not over any limits.

3) File is legal content, legally obtained.

4) File is 22 MB.

No customer support except for paid subscriptions.

So I guess this is why I don't use dropbox.....

Hi Walter,

I've been getting this same issue where the message pops up that, "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content." This is fairly recent as it only started a week and a half ago. Only my latest 2 folders that I'm trying to share have this issue. Some of my old folder links still work. Can you please contact me via email to resolve? Thanks in advance!

Good morning Walter,

Any updates on this?

Hi

I am trying to share some personal files (powerpoint files I created and I know the content is clean) but DropBox thinks it's a phishing scam.

How do I stop DB from false flag on my files?

DropBox PAID subscriber since 2010 (maybe earlier).  Trying to share a folder and getting message: "We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content."   Note: There is NOTHING in the folder yet and the addresses of the two recipients are legitimate account DB holders.  WTH?

Please fix this.

Same here.  The attempted shared folder is empty.   Paid DB subscriber since 2010.  VERY frustrating.

I receive the following message when trying to share folders. It even occurs with new folders that have no content!

Can’t share file

We’ve interrupted your sharing activity because your files might contain phishing content.
