How to Upload editted Word or Xls docs back to shared Dropbox folder online?

I've opened, downloaded, and edited word doc shared with me in DB online.

How do I upload this edited doc back into the Shared Folder with the same doc name?

Hey Trish S.2, hope it’s OK to jump in!

If you go to this page, and open your shared folder from there, you can then hit on the blue “Upload” button at the top of the page > select “Files” to upload the edited document.

If you haven’t changed the filename, then the updated file should automatically overwrite the old one.

    Hope that helps.

Hey Trish S.2, thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!

Your edits should be automatically reflected to the file if you were working on the file within the shared folder. Are you not seeing your edits on the website?

Let me know more and we'll take it from there.

      My challenge:

I open Word doc in Word for Web in a shared file with me.

I can open doc ok but cannot see or edit the header.

So I download doc to access/edit header

Now I want to upload this edited doc back to the shared folder.

I'm unable to do this last step.  Can you help?
