How Do I Clear the List of "Sync Issues" after I have resolved the issues?
There is no way to check them off as completed, and there is no way to delete them (at least that I can find!). That means that even after I manually resolve the sync issues, I can't clear that list. And, when I come back and look for new issues that I need to fix, I won't be able to tell where I left off.
Help! The OCD part of me wants that list cleared.
Hey @Dean G.4, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please clarify if you let the desktop app sync your changes and state that it's up to date after resolving your sync issues?
Thanks!

Hi Walter.
Thanks for the reply. Currently, Dropbox is syncing a rather large file, so perhaps it is not able to sync the other changes.
Is that list supposed to clear itself the next time Dropbox syncs, so that the list is always a list of current sync issues?
Hey @Dean G.4, sorry for the tardy response. Has the app finished syncing now?
If it did and it shows 'up to date', could you check again and let me know if the reported sync issues still show?

Hi Walter:
Yes, the large file sync finished, an no files are currently syncing.
Now the Sync Issues list includes the original 288 errors that I manually fixed, as well as others, so the total number is now 358 issues.
That list does not appear to be clearing itself. Is there any way to manually clear that list?
Thanks, Dean
I just restarted Dropbox (it seemed like it wasn't working), and the list of sync issues (files and folders) changed to 122, and all of those are current issues. So the list did change.
Unfortunately, the list includes many of the files and folders that were errors last time and which I manually uploaded to Dropbox to try and fix the errors. So manually fixing file name errors, or uploading the files and folders that did not sync for some other reason, did not seem to resolve the syncing issues for those files and folders.
I am amazed that Dropbox has issues with those files and folders when Google Drive does not. They all sync to google Drive with no errors. This is undermining my faith in Dropbox.
Hi @Dean G.4, when you say that you manually uploaded them, do you mean through the web?
If you use the web, in order to rename these files, do you notice a difference? If not, feel free to send me another screenshot of the message you get.

I am having this issue as well.
Using Mac Ventura 13.4.1
Dropbox Version 180.4.4912
Restarting has not cleared the list...
Was there ever a solution to this?
Thanks,
SparkyCanada
Hi @SparkyCanada,
Nice to e-meet you!
Can you send a screenshot of the sync status, please?
At the bottom of the window, there'll be a bar with text that says "Your files are up to date", "Syncing [filename]", "Syncing [x] files", or "Syncing paused until [x]".
Let me know what you find.
