Dropbox desktop app indefinitely syncing and giving an error that permissions can't be fixed

The dropbox app keeps syncing files, but the internet bandwidth is not used. It is stuck at "updating files". I already went to fix permissions, and it gives an error, saying the permissions cannot be fixed. I should contact support.

 

I gave permissions to the app, unlocked etc.

It is just constantly syncing nothing.

 

Please help. Thanks!

Hi there @SchoolGoga - sorry to hear about your syncing issue.

 

Could you send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting when trying to fix your hardlinks  and permissions, so that we can have a visual too?

 

Also, what is your computer's OS version, and the version of the Dropbox desktop app you're using?
