Hi, I’m semi computer literate and still cannot access Dropbox after installing Monterey.

Have completed the advanced uninstall and reinstall.. still not working.

Tried to follow one of the other’s post but not quite there…

Can you detail the fix here please.

Thanks Andrea, your method worked for me too after restart. Good to have it working again!

I think it better to go first on File and Folders and select here all Dropbox items.

After this you could find Dropbox folder on Full Disk Access.

Please try it!

Bye

Unlike Full Disk Access, File and Folders is greyed out on Monterey/Big Sur, even after your enter your password.

Anyway Dropbox is both marked as ticked with full access on both Full Disk Access and Files and Folders, and Dropbox still won't open - so it's irrelevant.

Dropbox teams keep ignoring us. I don't think it's sustainable. A lot more people will complain as they migrate to Monterey.

Thank you, that did it. I should have tried this before going to all the trouble of an "advanced reinstall" etc, etc.

Thank you - my computer assistant did this for me and it worked - I didn't have the confidence to go that extra step. All working now 🙂

Same problem – can't fix it. I've tried everything suggested in this thread, but Dropbox keep refuses to start. I just find it very strange that the Dropbox support says nothing about it here since the first answer to try advanced reinstall (that does not work). Are they working on it, or do they want all Monterey users, today and future, to leave Dropbox? Any news on this issue, anybody who knows?

Need more support?
