Hi @ClaireWright, sorry to hear about this!
Let's try a few things to remedy this. As a first thing, can you try to quit any applications or programs accessing your files?
Feel free to end all active processes in your Task Manager and then restart the device. Make sure to quit any applications that launch automatically on startup while you do that.
