The folder “Downloads” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents.

Hey jakehardy, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is it possible that you've enabled the Dropbox backup feature for your downloads folder?
If you open your Dropbox folder in finder, do you have a folder named 'Mac' that would include the downloads folder and are you able to access it from there?
Let me know what you find.

Hey joanneamanda, thanks for letting us know about this.
Hmm, can you make sure that Dropbox has full disk access on the computer and let me know if that helps?
