New Dropbox App on Mac on is showing an error and the app is not loading exiting every time

New Dropbox app on Mac is showing an error and the app is not loading exiting every time I tried every thing you suggested as help on your site still the same error appears I tried an advanced reinstall same error I also tried advanced reinstalling an older version same error please help I need to have my files sync with my Mac.

the error code is as follows:

  • Hey nassib, can you try again and this time, make sure to replace ~Dropbox with the specific location of the Dropbox folder?

    Hi nassib, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

     

    When you did the advanced reinstallation, did you replace the ~Dropbox with your current Dropbox folder location, which according to the error log is "/Users/NassibFayad/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox" including the quotation marks?

     

    This will help me to assist further!

      Hello and thanks for the reply I did all the steps exactly and used the terminal to run each command as per the help guide?

        Thanks, from the help page you're referring to, you'd need to specify the location of the Dropbox folder. 

         

        Did you add the exact location of the folder as mentioned in my previous reply?
