Yep, I've tried to do that. Maybe I missed something, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.

I was also still getting the reminders, which I ignored after what appeared to be a successful upgrade.
There was also a MacOS Update, that was applied then the reminders disappeared.
Now I have also upgraded to MacOS Sonoma 14.0 yesterday.

Not only am I still getting the reminders, I am also not getting the functionality I'd expect: the Finder extensions don't work: no DropBox badge on files, no DropBox functionality in the contextual menu. File syncing works fine though.

Mine is all working including the Finder Extensions, File Sych etc all work OK
