I can't uninstall the Dropbox application; says extensions are in use
Keeps saying that the extensions are in use and won't delete
- 3 years agoThanks for the update!
Now, please open the 'Activity Monitor'. It should be under Applications > Utilities.
Then, check to see if there are any items that refer to Dropbox, or if you recognize any programs that you may have linked to Dropbox and follow these steps:- Click on the line that references the process to select it
- Click on the 'X' at the top left corner of the screen.
Just make sure not to click on the 'X' that closes the window.
After this, try to uninstall the Dropbox app again.

Just read your reponse on uninstalling, and I'm not getting the same result. I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall because of a problem and just can't uninstall... keeps telling me there are extensions open. Other ideas? Thx
