Getting rid of "Turn on Accessibility" box from Dropbox

Getting rid of "Turn on Accessibility" box from Dropbox

Hi – does anyone know how I can get rid of a Dropbox box that has appeared on my Mac screen and has no red Off button for closing the box? It is a Turn On Accessibility box with a big exclamation mark in a yellow triangle. The options are Learn More, or Not Now, or Turn on Accessibility

The Not Now button does not work.

Learn More button does not help – Dropbox's bots are pretty useless and nothing helps. There are no humans.

The only option is to Turn on Accessibilty. Well, call me old-fashioned, but if I don't want to turn on accessibility, I don't want to turn on accessibility – so why is Dropbox trying to force me to turn it on?

Can anyone help? How can I close a box that won't close...and why won't their "Not Now" button work?

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for posting this here, @Kay L.!

Have you tried restarting your computer? If not, please give that a go.

Does this pop-up message appear again after that? If yes, are you able to dismiss it by selecting “Not now”?

Give me a nudge, if you need more help.

Thanks for this, Nancy – I hadn't tried that, but I will now and see if that works.
