Dropbox keep asking for relink after i moved my local dropbox folder to another location

I have a ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS desktop. It has a SSD on which OS is installed and a HD for other non-OS things. By default Dropbox store local data in Home dir of ubuntu. I was running out of storage, so i moved it to my HD (using Move option in preferences). It worked well, but as soon as I restart my system, Dropbox always notify me of directory has change (which i did intentioanlly) and ask me exit or relink which ultimately set everything back to Home fodler.

Hey shoeb ikhlas, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Has the Dropbox folder been moved to an internal or external drive?

If the latter, have you made sure that the drive is connected and recognized by your computer before the Dropbox app is launched?

Also, which version of the Dropbox app do you have installed?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

Thanks for this info, shoeb ikhlas.

Can you also send us a screenshot of the error you're getting each time you restart your device?
