DropBox app does not appear in the Mac Dock, or in the Nav Bar

On my second MacBook (Ventura OS), there are several things that do not work.

Of course, I deleted the old one (which was migrated from my other Mac), and re-downloaded and re-installed DropBox.  No help.

Here are the issues:

1--When i start the DropBox app from the Applications folder, it simply opens a Finder window with my files.  Does not appear to start the app (though it does appear in the Activity Monitor).

2--The app does not show in the Dock.

3--The app does not show in the Nav Bar.

What can I do to make this work?  Thanks for any assistance.

Hi @rich-seidner, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Do you have a lot of menu bar items currently? There have been reports from other users that since upgrading to Ventura, the Dropbox app (and others) aren't visible due to the number of icons there.

Try quitting some menu bar apps and let me know if the Dropbox icon appears.

This will help me to assist further!

Yes, the MacBook Pro has a Notch that blocks the view of some of the items in the Menu Bar.

I just had to remove several of the items to see the DropBox icon.

Thanks
