Different username on different desktops

Different username on different desktops

Hi

 

I have the problem, that on one desktop dropbox is located at users\kiels and another desktop users\hk.

 

On the desktop with users\hk som files are attemped to users\kiels.

 

If i chance that, it also chane on the desktop users\kiels.

 

How can i chance on users\hk whitout chancen on the other desktop?

Hey @kiels, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community today.

 

If I understand correctly, when you change a file in the Dropbox folder on one computer, it also changes in the Dropbox folder of your second computer and you don't want that to happen, is that right?

 

If both computers are linked to the same Dropbox account, the Dropbox app will sync any changes you make on one computer with the other one; that's the nature of the app.

 

Would you like to disconnect the two computers?

 

Let me know and we'll go from there.
