A lot of problems with Dropbox last week, shortcuts disappering, showing old files etc
Hi,
We started noticing this after the weekend in Windows 11:
- Some shortcuts people had to Dropbox folders on their desktop or pinned in Windows fast access in File Explorer disappeared.
- If you tried to access a file through a shortcut in fast access you would find an older version of the file than the one you see through the Team Folder.
- One of the folders in the Team Folder instead appeared under their personal folder in Windows File Explorer.
I know there was some changes the structure of the folders recently and that might be part of it but this really messed up things for us.
I reainstalled the client on many computers but that did not help a lot.
Has anybody else had trouble with getting old versions of files through shortcuts and what did you do about it?
Thanks

Hi Daniel_Stockholm, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you certain that the pinned items were actually linked to folders in the active Dropbox folder?
What happens if you unpin and then pin them again?
This will help me to assist further!
