We started to use a paper for our team wiki, but when you have several categories and lots of docs/permitions, its hard to orient in data layers. Tree of it will be great 👍
Guys from https://www.notion.so made a good job on that, but they are to expensive for us at the moment.

Why does not the dropbox have a tree architecture?
It seems to me that this function is very powerful. This function instantly transform Dropbox Paper.

I agree. I love using Paper, but it's impossible to easily organize new documents. I'm sure you guys have the expertise to make a filesystem-like tree structure interface for data that's saved to the cloud . It's my biggest gripe with the Paper, and it seems to be the immediate visceral reaction of anyone who I introduce it to, even if they like the editor interface.
- Shailen S.Explorer | Level 4This is absolutely a basic must-implement feature. As my number of notes are growing, it is getting harder to manage my notes. I need the Tree structure, just like the left side pane in Evernote.

Thanks for your idea - this is not something the team is working on right now.
However, we do rereview ideas and will update you if that changes!

Hi, Dropbox team! While the white space on the Dropbox Paper Home screen is nice and not-overwhelming, please consider adding options for each user to customize the use of the screen space. Different display options, smaller sidebar and header...?
And perhaps this one should be separate, but please consider making the folder view show up in the left sidebar rather than in line with the file lists. Having the option always be on the left would be great, perhaps with a simple on/off toggle just for folders, and clicking a folder then displays all the files in the folder in the list view.
Thanks! :)

I just quit Dropbox just because of this very issue.
Notion is awesome.

Paper is so much better than Confluence.
But there is just one thing because of which I have to stick with Confluence.
It is lack of this feature :(
Please add folder and document tree view!

please consider adding this feature. having a sidebar of folders / hierarchy would be so helpful. It's easy to forget which sections / pages exist and this would be so useful.
Thanks!

The dev team needs to implement this feature! right now I feel like my notes are all over the place. I try to make folders to keep everything organized, but the current design just feels very inefficient.

Dropbox Paper need tree architecture

Yes - this please!

The lack of any tree view in the web interface -- even two levels -- is a serious impediment. Our Dropbox Business team desperately needs this. Not having it may drive us away from Dropbox entirely.

The lack of a filetree is the one thing that keeps me from using paper. I like the editing experience, but it's just to complicated to navigate through my documents.
