Let us adjust the width between the file list and their preview to see the full file name.
i’d like to be able to move the dividing line between the list of files and preview pane so that I can see the full file name.

19 days agoHey Lisamulligan - thanks for using Dropbox and taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
Just to clarify, are you referring to the Dropbox mobile app and the option to see the full names of your files stored there - is that right?
Also, what is your device's OS version?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there, Lisa.

Hey HCeeP, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
Would you mind clarifying a few things for me? Like, how did you delete the files? Using our website?
When referring to the "desktop folder" are you referring to a folder you just created on your desktop to move the files to? Or your Desktop (system) folder?
And do you see the deleted files in your deleted files page in Dropbox?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hi,
Thanks for getting back! I deleted some files from a dropbox folder to create more space in my account. I then moved this folder onto my desktop which contained the files I wanted to keep.
But afterwards, I saw that the new desktop folder was missing most of the files and was basically empty
I checked on 'events' (to check what files had been deleted) and only saw those files which I had deleted on purpose, and not the files I wanted to keep. I'm sure these files must be somewhere. I tried doing 'rewind' but only got the empty folder.
Could someone help me restore my account to where it was at midnight on Saturday 22 July 2023? Then I would have all the original files, and can start again.
