One small but annoying monthly task is collecting the invoices/receipts from various services for the accountant. At least on this side of the world, you need to have a proper invoice, the credit card statement alone won't do.
Having the receipts and invoices as PDFs, attached to the email would make this a bit easier.
We need to send all invoices to an Accounts Payable Manger at our company. This person does not actually need access as a Member (and we do not want to pay for an extra member account). In addition to the "Email invoice" feature requested by multiple users here we would like to have the ability to set an billing email on our account. This email should be different from the primary admin email. This would make my life a lot easier since our Accounts Payable manager requests the invoice every month.

I've just wasted 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get the invoices to be automatically sent to my email, so I can forward them to my xero account. This is a basic business requirement and I just found a thread from 2015 with people requesting same. It must be automated, we do not have time to manually action this every month.
I subscribe to a dozen + services and Dropbox is the only one that doesn't even offer downloadable PDFs (most actually send them out by email). Get with the program!
Guys, this is the simplest thing in the world - I expense my dropbox and I need the receipt and it´s a bit of a faff to get it. Could you just send me one in an email, please? Make it an option?
This is a dealbreaker. If you guys can't add this I'm gonna find another place to store my organization's files. Period.

No. We get our annual bill emailed from Dropbox as required by law. Just not for the "new user" charges each week or so. We can't exactly just say to investors "oh here's a bill for 60% of the charges we racketed against online storage".
I appreciate your community input but you don't understand that for level 3 PCI compliance we can't just go giving billing staff super-admin rights to download receipts willy-nilly as that would also give them root-access to take control of any dropbox in the company!
There is most certainly a system there as they have already provided their reverse-lookup facility for our billing staff, but obviously a generic web-link still does not constitute delivery or a bill.
An e-mail directly to our bookkeeping department containing the invoice as a PDF would be a very nice solution!
Many companies need the invoice in pdf format for accounting and TAX purposes.
Now: To get the pdf invoice you need to go on the website, find the invoice, print it as a pdf.
Sweet future: The PDF invoice is automatically sent to an email each month/year.
Could not agree more with mr Niels. Or, if there was special automatically created folder in dropbox with all the invoices in there.
It is pain to login every month just to download the invoice, especially that sometimes when I forget to do this, my accountant have to call me. That is very uncomfortable.
Email dropbox invoice/receipt each year with payment notification so that I don't have to search to find it to download. Or make it easier to find by placing in the mobile dropbox app.
