You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
Why haven't dropbox disabled printing option for pics as you have done for pdf. I have processional account and i have used the option to disable download for a file. If file is pdf printing option is gone but if it is a pic printing option stays there.

This needs to be fixed. It makes the disable download function completely useless! If you select disable downloads for a shared link, printing is disabled. If you select disable downloads in Showcase, printing is still enabled. Why does this matter? Because if you select "print" there's a button to download. It defeats the entire purpose of having a disable download function. You've already created the feature for shared links. Why can't you embed the same functionality in Showcase?
