One of my folders is stuck syncing on the desktop app (Windows OS)

Hope to be in the right category.

Hello all,

In my Dropbox folder in the PC, some folder show a "Pending synchronization" Icon

Status. (sorry I'm not sure if it's written correctly, because my Windows is in Italian language)

How do I correct the issue?

Thanks guys.

Hey there, Vladimiro123, I hope you're doing well!

Have you tried to refresh your File Explorer window by any chance? You should be able to use F5, to refresh the active window.

If you access the syncing directory, and check for any files that might be syncing, do you get any results?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

      Hi Megan,

Thank you for your quick response.

As mentioned in my previous message, I'm seeing the "sync" symbol (screenshot already attached) in some folders. When I hover it with the mouse, it says "Synchronization pending".

I tried refreshing the active window with the F5 key, but the situation doesn't change and the synchronization pending symbol remains.

I tried accessing one of the unsynchronized folders, but all the files seem to be in order. Therefore, I assume this is only a folder synchronization issue.

While it doesn't appear to be a major issue, the presence of unsynchronized folders raises concerns about the potential loss of important files.

Could you please help me investigate this further and advise on a solution?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

        Hi Vladimiro123,

This issue should be resolved, but if you're still experiencing it, move the problematic directory out of Dropbox, wait for Dropbox to reach a synced state, then move the directory back in.

Let us know if this works for you!

        Regards,

        Ben
