Are you certain that you changed the email address on the Dropbox account, instead of creating a new Dropbox account?
Since your browser could be automatically logging you in, if you open up the Dropbox site on an incognito tab and attempt to login with the first non-Google email, are you able to login?

I tried incognito but it did not work. I never use the 2nd dropbox account but I extensively use the 1st account. Is there a way the two can be combined without me losing all my data?
thanks, Jay
