Brain-dead linked-account renaming scheme doesn't reverse when unlinking

My personal dropbox suggested I link my corporate account, at which time it did something totally user-hostile, that is, it just went ahead and renamed my Dropbox to "Dropbox (personal)". So now wherever I had terminal scripts that referenced this directory, buh bye, they're dead.

Not only that but on the mac, that directory cannot be entered into from zsh. From ~ you literally cannot "cd Dropbox" even though a simlink is there..... to the wrong directory!

This is a terrible design choice. I get that Dropbox makes money from corporates, but I pay for my personal account (2TB) and I absolutely do not want my corporate account to MESS with my personal one, which is much more important to me. Moreover, I'm a consultant that changes employers every year or so. Imagine the mess.

Why can't they just leave plain old "Dropbox" there, and then create a new "Dropbox (corpo-name)".

Moreover, unlinking the accounts, doesn't revert everything back to how it used to be. What a mess. Seriously gonna leave Dropbox.
