What plan should I upgrade to, so that my files don't get deleted/lost?
I have a question about the status of my plan. It says here on my account that the total size of my files is 2.99TB (almost 3TB). When I click on upgrade, the recommended/best value plan is the Plus ...

Thanks for posting on our forum today, nomadshot!
If you purchase the Plus plan with the 2TB of storage and you have almost 3TB of data, you’ll still be way over-quota and you won’t be able to add any new files to your Dropbox account or sync them across your devices.
While we do have a data deletion policy for Basic users who are over-quota, we don't have that for paid plans at this time. However, keep in mind that this may be subject to change in the future.
For this reason, I suggest upgrading to another plan that offers 3TB of space instead (you can check all of our current subscriptions at our Plans page), just to be covered.
If you need more space after that, you can get more this way.
