What does extended version history mean?
I'm very confused about the subscription for Extended Version History. I have a plus plan does it mean after a year photos or files I loaded automatically delete? I don't understand this Version Hist...

Hi Shunket05, thanks for messaging the Community!
Extended version history is used when you need to recover older files that were edited or deleted.
It doesn't mean that any files on your account would be automatically deleted after a year.

Hi Jay,
Thank you so much for explaining that to me. I should say I suffer from a brain injury and the wording in the FAQ was too complicated to understand. Probably normal wording to understand for an uninjured brain just not mine. Just a thought maybe have this statement there too. I only say that because it says Dropbox staff.

No worries, I'm glad to have helped out.
Just to let you know, the only instance in which files are deleted from your account by Dropbox is if an account has been left inactive for 12 months in a row (as in, a person doesn't login or sync files to the account), then the entire account is deactivated.
