My promotional space disappeared

My free dropbox quota increased to 32gb via an offer some while ago; when I logged in today, the quota has dropped back to the standard 2gb, where has my other 30gb gone?  Would it have been removed because I've not used dropbox for a while?  Seems a bit unfair.  Does anyone know the answer to this please?  I tried the online chat but unable to reach a real person.

    Most promotional space is time limited and will expire after 6 months, a year, two years, etc., depending on the promotion. You can see a list of all the bonus space you've earned, as well as any that has expired, on your Referrals page.

    Most promotional space is time limited and will expire after 6 months, a year, two years, etc., depending on the promotion. You can see a list of all the bonus space you've earned, as well as any that has expired, on your Referrals page.
